For 20 years and counting, Envestnet has innovated in pursuit of one goal: to equip advisors with the tools and resources needed to deliver the most impactful financial advice to their clients. Envestnet provides unified wealth management technology and products to financial advisors and institutions. Their flagship product is an advisory platform that integrated the servives and software used by financial advisors in wealth management.
In 2021, Envestnet partnered with Organic to help revive their digital presence and position themselves as industry disruptors in the financial services sector. In August 2022 we launched the digital rebrand of the .com experience. We faced 3 key challenges: Their website didn't cater to how users envisioned interacting with the company in the future, hindering seamless transitions and frustrating potential growth. Information architecture was disorganized and lacked intuitive navigation, making it difficult for users to find what they needed quickly and easily. The .com failed to communicate the company's evolving value proposition and vision for the future, leaving users unclear about what they could expect.
Through dozens of stakeholder interviews, experience and competitive audits we identified key themes of a need to articulate our message and develop a dynamic browsing experience. The goal would be for Envestnet to identify itself as an industry disruptor in the FinTech space while bringing the brand promise of the “intelligent financial life” to fruition.
The comprehensive overhaul encompassed: A holistic digital brand identity redesign to achieve cohesion and clarity. Consolidated information architecture to offer up seamless and intuitive navigation and distill the messaging across the site into a concise narrative that’s easily understandable. Unifying a large portfolio of digital properties into one cohesive digital experience..
Using in page and component animation to set the .com apart from others within the FinTech sector, we were able to make the digital experience feel both dynamic and immersive. Moments of delight and surprise would keep the user engaged as they moved through content and explored the site.
